The renowned actor officially commenced his national service at a recruit training centre in Paju!
Kim Soo Hyun is reported to have spent time with his family prior to enlisting quietly at the training centre. The actor’s agency KeyEast Entertainment released a few photos from his enlistment ceremony, which you can see below.
The caption reads:
We sincerely thank all the fans who have shown their love for Kim Soo Hyun. Please continue to support him so that he can fulfill his military service in good health. Thank you.
Kim Soo Hyun also posted one last picture to his personal Instagram account before enlisting. Take a look below!

Hello, this is Kim Soo Hyun. I wanted to greet everyone briefly before I enlist. I would like to thank all those who have constantly supported me. I will return in good health. I hope everyone can stay healthy.
Kim Soo Hyun will undergo training at the Paju recruit training centre for five weeks before completing 21 months of military service. His discharge date is currently set for July 22, 2019.
