Rapper Kanto, under Brand New Music, has just made his comeback with an MV for new track ‘Salty.’ ‘Salty‘ is part of his new mini album titled ‘Repetition.’ This is his first comeback after more than a year, as well as his first comeback since competing on KBS‘ ‘The Unit.’

The MV is very unique as it features Kanto rapping with many different backgrounds. For example, he first raps with a shopping informercial as the background, before it changes to a TV and a magazine. The colours of the MV are aesthetically pleasing, and all the colours are very bright. Even the colours of his outfit changes. His love interest in the MV seems to be uninterested in him as she looks bored and pays him little attention. This is also reflected in the lyrics of the song, as it is about feeling frustrated when the person you are interested in does not feel enthusiastic around you. The song itself has retro vibes and will definitely leave the audience feeling hyped up. It’s a bouncy song with a fun choreography. The MV also features English phrases, visually appealing video effects, and superheroes.
