GroovyRoom is looking for 'My Paradise' in new release
H1GHR MUSIC‘s producing duo GroovyRoom have released the full version of their latest digital single ‘My Paradise‘.
‘My Paradise‘ features singer Chungha, who is a former member of I.O.I and rapper Vinxen, who is best known for Mnet‘s ‘High School Rapper 2‘.
The track itself has a fresh, dream-like quality to it. Chungha‘s sweet and smooth vocal floats above the strong synth sound with the song brought back to earth with a thump with the introduction of Vinxen‘s rap which is hard-edged and raw. The two are in complete opposition to each other in their tone and delivery but the combination works and ensures that the song is completely stunning.
The lyrics were co-written by Vinxen and Jium Seo who has worked with a number of idol groups including EXO and Monsta X. GroovyRoom‘s Hwimin Lee participated in the direction of the artwork for the digital single as well.

The duo had been dropping audio teasers for the past few days in the lead-up to the release of the song. The audio teasers gave enough of a sample to ensure that we couldn’t wait for the full song to be released.
