Big Hit looks into fan accusations of harassment by staff in Japan

Article: BTS reps, "Sexual harassment by Japanese staff? We'll take legal action after we check what happened... we apologize for the discomfort"

Source: OSEN via Nate

1. [+1,209, -22] Wow, I was so shocked when I read the title thinking BTS sexually harassed someone;;; can we please get proper article titles?

2. [+1,072, -23] That article title is so misleading

3. [+950, -19] The article title leaves room for misinterpretation...!!

4. [+53, -3] Why are all the positive articles about BTS shoved at the bottom and articles like this are nailed into the main page?

5. [+45, -1] The article title should've said "Big Hit reps" instead of "BTS reps"... BTS has absolutely nothing to do this. Don't use their name for negative press...

Article: BTS agency reps, "We are checking into what happened with the invasion of fan rights, we apologize for the discomfort"

Source: Newsen via Nate

1. [+426, -45] This is still an ongoing controversy among the fans... I hope this doesn't affect BTS negatively. They're just working hard in Japan, why should they be dragged into this?

2. [+400, -48] It's unfair to put this in the media when it's all just fancafe posts at this point with nothing confirmed

3. [+66, -9] Isn't the fact of the matter that fanpage admins were trying to sell fan merchandise at a hotel in Japan and got caught by staff? It's illegal to make a profit off of their portrait rights so why are they getting all up in arms for getting caught? Go take a look at how strict Johnny's is with the portrait rights of their artists and realize that what you just did in Japan is embarrassing, tsk.

4. [+54, -4] Didn't the fans sell merchandise inside a hotel in Japan? BTS already has an official merch shop, of course the agency is going to go hard on stopping outside sources from selling merch. Before whining about your own rights, please realize the laws you're breaking first. Why should you be making money off of the portrait rights of BTS?

5. [+47, -5] None of this would've happened if BTS fanpage admins didn't sell their merch secretly. What happened basically was that the staff did a body search when they were caught and now the fans are whining about being harassed and reporting it to the police.

6. [+43, -4] Sigh, why would you go all the way to Japan to sell your merch. Weren't some other fans almost sued by a Japanese TV show because they snuck in their DSLR and tried to film secretly? Stop embarrassing our country over there.

7. [+35, -0] Poor BTS having their name dragged into something that they aren't a part of

8. [+34, -1] It's become the norm for fanpage admins in our country to illegally sell portrait rights of their artists as fan merch but they need to realize that it's still illegal in other countries and it will land you in the police station...
