Ministry of Education looks to cancel Jung Yonghwa's admission and Jo Kwon's graduation

Article: Education Ministry requests cancellation of admissions for Jung Yonghwa and Jo Kyu Ma and cancellation for Jo Kwon's graduation

Source: SBS via Nate

1. [+651, -94] Jo Kwon too???

2. [+638, -163] Why is Jo Kwon's being canceled? What did he do to deserve this?

3. [+560, -133] Poor Kwon

4. [+92, -1] For all of you asking why Jo Kwon deserves this, it says right there in the article and even in his agency's statement. He was required to have a graduation performance as a requirement to graduate but he couldn't on the date he was assigned due to a personal matter and was ordered to submit a video performance instead but he was cleared for graduation without the video being submitted. He didn't submit his video until all of this blew up in the media and SBS investigated into it. He never wrote a thesis or submitted a video to earn his graduation. It doesn't matter how much of a hard worker he was as a student, he never met the requirements to graduate which is why it's being canceled now. It's not an unfair situation at all.

5. [+47, -1] Why are people asking why for Jo Kwon, obviously investigations brought up problems regarding his graduation status...

6. [+43, -1] Jo Kwon's the same as the rest of them, why feel bad for him?

7. [+38, -1] I'm guessing those of you feeling bad for Jo Kwon never read the article. He was required to submit a video but only submitted it after investigations were launched...

8. [+36, -0] Since when was graduate school a place that granted you a degree as long as you "worked hard" and "attended classes"? There's obviously a reason his graduation is being canceled

9. [+30, -3] Jo Kwon wrote an apology the day the Ministry of Education launched investigations and he realized that this was getting bigger than he thought. Why would he have written an apology if he was in the clear? ã…‹

10. [+23, -2] Jo Kwon cosplayed as the victim this whole time acting like he worked so hard in school but look at the special perks he still got out of being a celebrity ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹

11. [+22, -3] Jo Kwon should've stayed quiet instead of acting like this whole thing was unfair just because he attended classes and worked hard. Why would you ever be granted a degree without even writing a thesis...?

12. [+18, -3] Why are you feeling bad for Jo Kwon, you idiots. He didn't submit a video until a month ago. Go ask your own schools if you can graduate when you only submitted your thesis in February. I bet all of you complaining only ever graduated high school.

13. [+17, -1] So many idiots commenting when they probably never even went to college. You think degrees are granted based on "how hard you worked"? ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ Why feel bad for Jo Kwon? He only feels bad that he got caught
