MAMAMOO is 'cutie, sexy, dangerous' in animal costumes in 'Starry Night' special clip

MAMAMOO had promised fans a ‘cutie, sexy, dangerous’ version of their lastest music video ‘Starry Night‘ if the view count of the music video reaches a milestone. In celebration of the MV being viewed 12 million times, MAMAMOO gifted fans with an ‘animal version’ choreography video of ‘Starry Night‘ earlier today.

For this special video, the members of MAMAMOO dressed up as the animals of their Chinese zodiac. They donned extremely adorable animal costumes for the occasion, complete with an onesie jumpsuit and a huge animal head.

Moonbyul, born in 1992 or the year of the monkey, sported an adorable monkey costume. Meanwhile, Solar turned temporarily into a fluffy white lamb. Same aged members Hwasa and Wheein both dressed up in matching onesies as pigs.

Despite having little to no peripheral vision, the members executed the choreography as professionally as ever. To see such cute mascots dancing passionately in a park is quite an entertaining sight. We can only imagine the reactions of casual bystanders when they get home and discover that underneath those costumes were none other than MAMAMOO themselves!

The second part of the video shows the behind scene—the girls putting on their costumes and walking to the shooting site. While preparing, Wheein said that this was the first time she was wearing an animal costume and added that the members themselves came up with the idea. On the way to the park, MAMAMOO was lovely and lively as usual and took several photos with children.

MAMAMOO, indeed, never fail to live up to their reputation as dorky idols.
