‘Only Then‘ is a pop ballad that expresses the sad emotions of a man deciding on the right time to break up. Roy Kim wrote the lyrics to ‘Only Then‘, and even helped in composing the song! His voice manages to be both relaxing and intense at different times in the song. ‘Only Then‘ is given a nostalgic tone through the use of a synthesised keyboard, and uses some soft rock elements such as an emotive electric guitar solo.
