Hyolyn joins the cast of artists covering heartwarming tracks for the cold winter season!
Hyolyn has given her fans a late Christmas present, releasing her cover of Sia‘s ‘Snowman‘ on December 26! Check it out below:
‘Snowman‘ allows Hyolyn to show off her vocal control. The former SISTAR main vocalist has one of the most recognisable voices in KPop, and this cover demonstrates why she is so well loved. Hyolyn‘s signature husky sound comes through in a song that sits quite low in her vocal range. She exhibits her vocal control throughout the song’s arpeggiated chorus in which the vocal part jumps from note to note.
Hyolyn has been busy since SISTAR‘s disbandment earlier this year. The vocalist has released a number of beautiful covers, including her cover of Corinne Bailey Rae’s ‘Like A Star‘, and has even started her own agency, Brid3! With Hyolyn releasing her latest cover so close to the end of the year, we at Officially KMusic hope that she will be sending new music of her own our way in 2018!
