The 32nd Annual Golden Disc Awards are coming!
THE BIGGEST AND GRANDEST KOREAN ENTERTAINMENT EVENT WILL BE HAPPENING IN MANILA IN JANUARY 2018
That’s right, the 32ND GOLDEN DISC AWARDS are going to be held in Manila, Philippines.
2018 is definitely shaping up as a big year for K-Pop around the world, and to celebrate that, the biggest and grandest award show and music festival from Korea will be staged in Manila, Philippines this January 2018. This will be the first time the Golden Disc Awards and associated festival will be held in the Philippines. The awards show will be held from January 10-11, 2018 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
The Golden Disc Awards is the longest running award show in Korea and have been handing out the most prestigious awards to K-Pop artists since 1986. They are presented annually by the Music Industry Association of Korea for outstanding achievements in the music industry in South Korea.
This year the awards show will feature performances from a number of K-Pop groups with awards and prizes presented by Korean actors and actresses.
Winners from the 31st Golden Disc Awards included EXO, BTS, SEVENTEEN and I.O.I
Fans in the Philippines will be able to watch performances from a number of K-pop artists who will fly in to participate in the awards show along with accepting prestigious awards and prizes for their achievements in 2017.
The Golden Disc Awards will also host special events for lucky fans and event goers to participate in. There will be special fan activities, sponsor booths and the always highly anticipated red carpet segment right before the main event.
