Idol Star Athletics Championships may return with a new event category in 2018!
Idol Star Athletics Championships is currently in talks for its return in 2018. In particular, MBC is preparing for a Lunar New Year air date in mind. However, nothing is set yet.
In particular, it is reported that it will officially take place on January 15th and 22nd. On top of that, this event will try and prevent injuries to the idols. Thus, futsal and basketball were eliminated from the event category. Instead, they will be adding a bowling event with the original category of track and field, archery, aerobics and rhythm gymnastics.
