Wanna One have finally made their first comeback!
In contrast with their bright, colourful debut with ‘Energetic‘, the MV for ‘Beautiful‘ showcases the eleven members’ acting skills. Make sure you check out the prologue video here first, and then dive into Wanna One‘s movie version of their ‘Beautiful‘ music video!
‘Beautiful‘ itself takes a back seat to the dramatic events of the song’s music video. Fans are subject to a roller coaster of emotions, from the happiness of seeing long-lost brothers Daniel and Seong Wu reunited, to the excitement of the adrenalin-inducing fight scene, and the despair of Seong Wu‘s fall from the staircase. Although the music video is centred around Daniel and Seong Wu, it is clear that all eleven members have worked hard on their acting skills for their first comeback as Wanna One!
Wanna One‘s new title track ‘Beautiful‘ is a ballad that shows off the group’s more mature side. Although the song is broken up by the action of the music video, the sadness and longing of the lyrics is easily understandable through the group’s emotional vocals. The hip-hop-inspired beat drives the track along but the instrumental is subdued, allowing the voices of the Wanna One members to shine in their touching new song.
