Latest boy group IM brings us a 'Sad Story' for their debut MV
MBK‘s new boy group, IM, has finally made their debut! They have dropped the music video for ‘Sad Story‘. Even from the title, it is clear that these boys are solely working on their vocals to bring out their emotions and soul to the track. Ready to be touched by this amazing track? MBK‘s upcoming boy group, IM66, will be debuting very soon. It is made up of ten members which is split up into two groups: the performance group and the band group. So far, with this music video, we get to see the performance unit called IM. They have made their debut with their first digital single, ‘Sad Story‘. This unit consists of four members including Tae Eun, Giseok, Gijung and Hangyul.
Now, for the track itself, the beautiful piano melody can be heard before the lovely acoustic guitar helps enhance the rhythm. Their raw voices are just so beautiful to listen to, running so soothingly against the melody. It is easy to tell the voices between each member since they all have distinct tones. One thing to mention is just how amazing it sounds when they harmonize with one another.
On top of that, when the members hit the high notes, people can’t help but get chills down their back. Then when we get the solo guitar, the beat really brings in the sad yet angry feelings into the track. It definitely is a great addition to the music, which is unusual to have in a ballad track like this. However, it had worked well to tell the ‘Sad Story‘.
