Our K-Exclusive coverage of KCON Australia‘s second round of red carpet catwalk moments has arrived! Check out this fabulous compilation of our many, many, live tweets, as well as some little surprises that you might have missed!
1. Red carpet moments with…SF9!
Making an encore appearance on the KCON Australia red carpet at Qudos Bank Arena were SF9! Their chic matching suits concept was back in monochrome, with Dawon the only member wearing his in a casual over the shoulder fashion; looks like our laidback Australian style was already taking hold after two days! Or maybe he was just starting to feel that 37 degree Sydney springtime heat!
SPOILER: those jackets came off a few hours later, after their first stage!

Fans were thrilled with SF9’s photo time, as they spent the entire red carpet talk time sneaking waves and finger hearts to the screaming crowd!

Red carpet hosts, Andy Trieu and Kevin Kim (formerly of boy group ZE:A), kicked things off with a “three charms” theme, and like we said… SF9 had more than we could list in one tweet!
After starting off with a tentative “maybe sexy?”, they progressed to “when you guys think about SF9, you will always think about SF9, and you guys LOVE IT” and combined that with “handsome, charisma, sexy, cute; they have EVERYTHING!” We, for one, didn’t hear any disagreements from the crowd!

2. Red carpet moments with…UP10TION!
Brand new to the lineup for Day 2 were UP10TION! Our camera was lucky enough to capture a flood of waves from the members, which turned into the sweetest aegyo as they walked offstage! All the idol groups were HUGE on fanservice over both days, and every single schedule was one to remember!

3. Red carpet moments with…Cosmic Girls (WJSN)!
Our Day 2 girl group, Cosmic Girls aka WJSN, were stunning in their crisp white uniforms, down to their high heeled boots!

It looks like they’ve practised this pose before, with almost every single member managing to wave sweetly over at the press section at the same time! Exy even chatted to us on her way offstage!

4. Red carpet moments with…MONSTA X!
The screams started well before MONSTA X appeared in the room, almost drowning out “Trespass” (from their 2015 album of the same name), playing in the background! Aussie fans waited all day in the hot sun, and MONSTA X‘s extended time on the red carpet stage was the perfect reward!

Almost every photo we took of MONSTA X‘s photo time was “Beautiful“, but these were our top two!

We still can’t believe that rapper Jooheon, the member with the toughest exterior, nailed MONSTA X‘s aegyo charm onstage! Way to represent!

Wonho was the obvious choice to demonstrate the ‘sexy charm’ of the group, but what we weren’t ready for was for Hyungwon, Minhyuk and I.M. to be imitating him with no restraint whatsoever in the background!
