After revealing that 2PM‘s Taecyeon would be enlisting on September 4, JYP Entertainment then confirmed that the singer had already quietly enlisted.
News of the enlistment was treated with surprise as there had been no prior announcement.
JYP Entertainment confirmed at 2pm KST on September 4, that the singer had enlisted quietly with only his family and other 2PM members present. Taecyeon had wished for a quiet entrance to his military service.
He had previously hinted that he would be enlisting after his latest drama ‘Save Me’ aired.
Taecyeon’s last drama prior to enlistment was ‘Save Me’
He will now complete his training at the White Horse Division’s Gyeonggi Province new recruit training centre before serving as an active duty soldier.
