BIGBANG’s T.O.P to complete mandatory service as a public service worker

BIGBANG's T.O.P to complete mandatory service as a public service worker

After a long and painful process, BIGBANG‘s T.O.P has officially been assigned reservist status by the South Korean Ministry of National Defense.

He has been transferred from the police department and will complete his mandatory service as a public service worker.  T.O.P was deemed unfit to return to service as a conscripted policeman on July 31 following his trial for marijuana use.

According to police, he will be serving under the supervision of the Military Manpower Administration.  The time that T.O.P spent dismissed from duty (for the duration of his arrest and trial) will not count toward his mandatory service.
